Two of my works ("Canyon" and "Die sechs Ansichten des Kirchturms zu Springiersbach") have been published by Joachim-Trekel-Musikverlag in Hamburg. More pieces will follow shortly.

Daniel Huschert awardee at the composition competition »José Fernández Rojas 2010«
My composition "Rituel" has received the 1st prize at this year's composition competition "José Fernández Rojas" The jury announced its decision on Saturday, 11th December 2010 during a concert of the plucked string orchestra "La Orden de la Terraza". The award includes prize money of 2,500 euros. (all results)

"BOKEH" for two mandolins is finished. Being a first step toward minimal music, the composition is dedicated to Caterina Lichtenberg and Mike Marshall.

My piece "Canyon" was performed by the Duo Christian Laier and Takaaki Shibata during the mayoral welcome for the foreign guests of the "Eurofestival Zupfmusik" in Bruchsal. The work found great approval by the attending celebrities of the plucked string community.

A critique about the concert of the LZO on 4th November 2007 has been published in the April issue of the Neue Musikzeitung. An extract is available in the press review.

The "Concerto No. 1" has experienced another revision. After the first revision, where the whole second movement was exchanged and the third movement heavily shortened, the piece now has reached its third and final form.

My first song cycle has been finished. The "Four love songs after texts of Erich Fried" for soprano, three recorders and guitar are dedicated to my good friend Angela Bertus.

I have finished a new piece: "Sonata" for mandola or mandoline solo.

Two of my pieces have expierienced a special honour: "Burlesken Szenen" has been chosen as a compulsory piece for the mandoline age group IV of the Roland Zimmer Youth Competition 2008. And "Capriccio" is now on the list of the recommended compositions for the Orchestra Competition 2008, published by the Deutscher Musikrat.

A new composition has been finished: "Concerto da Camera" for plucked string ensemble or orchestra. It is an easy piece to be played using a baroque to classical language.
